Key elements of OPIP’s mission are to support practice-level quality improvement and implementation, and facilitate spread of innovations, as well as inform policies that support optimal health and development for all children and youth across the state. As such, a critical component of our work is to provide actionable and meaningful information to policymakers that is informed by practices in the front-line, and conversely, to provide our front-line practices with updates and potential implications from policy-level efforts that may be coming ahead.
To help achieve this communication and enhance collaboration, OPIP conducts semi-annual webinar calls for front-line providers invested in child health in Oregon, in order to share tools or methods that may be useful to others and provide updates on key policy-relevant activities.
