CURRENT PROJECT
Background: As part of Health Share of Oregon’s efforts focused on enhancing social-emotional services provided to young children enrolled in their CCO, they are funding the Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership to conduct trainings for primary care providers on social-emotional health in young children and strategies for primary care providers to address social-emotional health in young children.
Audience for the Trainings: Primary care providers whose practices contract with Health Share of Oregon’s Health Plan Partners (e.g. Care Oregon, OHSU Health, Providence, Legacy Health PacificSource, and Kaiser Permanente).

- The agenda will include topics such as the importance of early identification, practical tips for implementing recommended approaches, and strategies for providing parental guidance and connecting families with behavioral health supports.
- The training will feature presentations from local primary care providers and offer opportunities for participants to learn from real-world implementations. CME credit will be offered.
