PAST PROJECT
From 2015-2017 OPIP led a SBHC Adolescent Well-Care project. This project involved trainings on evidence-based best practice and key ways to implement clinical recommendations as well as practice facilitation to three School-Based Health Center (SBHC) sites. Lastly provided technical assistance and consultation to three Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) about the role that SBHCs play in improve quality of care aligned with CCO incentive metrics that included a focus on adolescents. These include:
- Adolescent well-care visits
- Depression screening and follow-up
- Substance abuse screening, brief intervention, referral, and treatment (SBIRT).
