Background: As part of Health Share of Oregon’s efforts focused on enhancing social-emotional services provided to young children enrolled in their CCO, they are funding the Oregon Pediatric Improvement Partnership to conduct trainings for primary care providers on social-emotional health in young children and strategies for primary care providers to address social-emotional health in young children.
Resource Library: OPIP has developed a online resource library of the curriculum materials that were provided so that providers who serve children insured through Health Share of Oregon can access these materials.
This Resource Library Includes materials from the trainings that aimed to equip primary care providers with actionable tools and strategies to enhance their ability to identify and address social-emotional health issues in young children. Including:
- Topics such as the importance of early identification, practical tips for implementing recommended approaches, and strategies for providing parental guidance and connecting families with behavioral health supports.
- Presentations from local primary care providers and offer opportunities for participants to learn from real-world implementations.
